Armenia is famed for its brandy. Belarus is famed for, well, its repressive government and not much else (at least on the wine and spirits front). But now it looks like the two countries are teaming up to give the nonexistent Belarusian brandy industry a shot in the arm. How so? As Belarus's ambassador to Armenia recently explained, Armenian brandy will be imported but sold under Belarusian labels. Apparently Belarusian brandy drinkers prefer the "Made in Belarus" label on their bottles. More details here.
